NINI NEWNU LLC started in San Diego, CA. with a need for a pair of white simple statement earrings with little to no weight to them/ easy on the ears.

Time: Covid.

Options: Shop the limited selections in hopes of finding the right weight, style, cost, or perhaps … Make them, I mean how difficult could it be? 

As a Graduate from The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles with an Associates in Fashion/Apparel Design, whenever I wanted something apparel related, I’d source fabric, get to pattern making, and onward to my sewing machine. But accessories were a new chapter to me.

Growing up a kid from the bay, where style is everything, and inspo can come from a walk on the grid, watching full house, or window shopping at Union Square; I would change my outfit 3-5 times a day depending on my mood. I played with paper dolls; drawing up my own designs and creating ensembles.

With 20 years of experience in Marketing, Fashion, Retail, and Hospitality in association with some of the most prestigious brands like Guess, Forbes, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts; I would say my experience in the professional world is subject to the next challenge.

The white earrings to the right (above if you are viewing this from your mobile device) are the end result of a need I had, which became my business, henceforth challenging me to invest in myself while generating capital during a time when it felt like the world shut-down.

I am NINI (my childhood nickname), this is my NEW website, and the NU is just me in my cutesy-ERA.
